This Week's Classes at All Life is Yoga (Virtual):

Tuesday April 28th, 6:00 - 7:15 pm Eastern & Saturday May 2nd, 10:00 - 11:30 am Eastern

Spread the word, invite your friends from all over the world and ask me if you're apprehensive to take online class or if you have any questions. We'll be doing virtual at least through May.  See www.alllifeisyoga.com/classes to register. Classes are hosted via Zoom.

Group and Individual Private Yoga

I'm happy to say the corporate classes are going well and I've received more great feedback. I like this response:

"I’ve been having low back issues because I haven’t been keeping up with my chiropractor during quarantine and last night I felt such relief from the work we did and even slept comfortably.  We’re onto something!"

This weekend, I'm also teaching one of my private clients with her family. They live in different states and are trying something new for their family Zoom meetup. Please reach out for family/friend online yoga parties in addition to corporate classes. This is a great way to stay connected to one another, to relieve physical discomfort and ease mental stress.

I'm also available for individual private sessions. Tell your people!

Gotta Move

My students need more movement right now so I'm teaching the classical sun salutation often. Meditation, silence and stillness are great, they help settle frazzled nerves. But, if you're new to yoga and meditation, it's better to stretch and move first, then start with short meditations. It's amazing how much easier it is to settle the mind after you release tension out of the body.

Gotta Breathe

I'm also increasing my focus on chest opening poses and pranayama techniques because we can all use increased lung and breath capacity!

This Week's Standout Quote

This week I was moved by this short simple sentence by B.K.S. Iyengar, found in his book "Light on Life."

"When everything else is stripped away, the essential is revealed."

B.K.S. Iyengar is the yogi from India who developed alignment, props and therapeutics in yoga. Most of my studies come from his line of teaching.

Thank you and best regards,

Ashley
